| Leica MZ 16 A | ||
![]() ![]() |
With the introduction of MZ16 and MZ16 A, Leica Microsystems celebrates a new milestone in the world of stereomicroscopy; these two new products are targeted at the high-end life science research and industrial inspection markets that demand higher performance. With these two new instruments comes the first stereomicroscope that provides a completely motorized workstation, setting new standards for our competition in automation and working ergonomy, and once again proving that Leica Microsystems is an innovator strictly focused on meeting the customers needs. Please see also our different application reports for the use with the new MZ16 A. Therefore please use the navigation bar on the left and check:
Key Features
Detailed Description |
|
| Leica MZ6 | ||
|
The Leica MZ6 modular stereomicroscope with 6.3:1 zoom covers important magnification ranges between 6.3x and 40x for the non-destructive 3-D observation of unprepared objects in science, and for inspection and assembly in technology.
The Leica MZ6 stereomicroscope meets demanding requirements of quality and ergonomics. State-of-the-art ergonomics are efficiently deployed in the Leica MZ6. Leica Microsystems offers the world's largest selection of ergonomic accessories, enabling every user to match the instrument to work procedures, environment and to personal physique. |
|
| Leica MZ7.5 | ||
|
The Leica MZ75 high-performance stereomicroscope with 7.9:1 zoom offers leading-edge optical technology at an affordable price. Companies and users throughout the world have the opportunity to experience the performance and the quality of a Leica.
With a magnification range from 6.3x to 50x, the Leica MZ75 reveals considerably more information than does any other instrument in this price class. The Leica MZ75 is routinely supplied with the 1.0x plano objective, which has a comfortable working distance of 81mm. The high resolution (up to 246 line pairs per millimeter), extremely fine contrast, and image sharpness of the MZ75 optical system make it the instrument of choice for critical inspection. Planapochromatic objectives provide unsurpassed color correction and consistent reproduction of the finest details throughout the entire magnification range. The Leica MZ75 is ideally suited for observing transparent, low-contrast objects commonly found in medicine and biology. |
|
| Leica MZ12.5 | ||
|
The Leica MZ125 high-performance stereomicroscope with 12.5:1 zoom provides the user with more information, more details, and with more knowledge. The performance in terms of contrast, richness of detail, resolution, and color fidelity is unsurpassed and extends the limits of microscopical observation.
The high numerical aperture (0.2), the maximum
resolution of 600 line-pairs/mm, and magnifications up to 640x, enable
the range of the Leica MZ125 to be extended to that of the compound
microscope. In its standard configuration with 1.0x planachromatic objective
and distortion-free 10x eyepieces, the Leica MZ125 offers a higher magnification
(100x), a larger numerical aperture (0.125) and better resolution (375
line-pairs/mm) than any comparable stereomicroscope on the market. |

Simply Microscopy! - The fully automated research microscope for materials sciences that leaves nothing to be desired
The touch-sensitive LeicaScreen is particularly easy to use. This screen shows you all the settings at a glance. Also, its clearly arranged menu structure takes you through the menu screens at lightning speed, and allows you to run all available motorized modules of the microscope. Additionally, the Leica DM6000 M features a motorized objective turret which offers space for 7 objectives. Here, too, the microscope is equipped with a LeicaScreen which displays current settings and offers options for control of all motorized components. The Leica DM6000 M also uses the Leica "SmartMove" remote control, which contains the remote control functions for the Z drive and motorized stage in addition to 4 freely programmable buttons. |

| Leica DM LM | ||
|
|
The Leica DM LM is a modern system microscope
with a modular design that makes it equally suitable for simple routine
examinations in materials science and for materials research tasks.
The Leica DM LM is designed specially for
materials microscopy with high mechanical stability and powerful 12V/100W
illumination. It is an highly open and modular system with optimum adaptibility
to your task, environment and budget. All contrasting techniques BF/DF/DIC/POL/FLUO/PHACO are available on the microscope and can be switched in quick succession. Incident light interferometry and microhardness testing is also optional. A wide selection of reflectors and sophisticated polarizing equipment enables the incident light techniques to be optimally matched to the particular sample. The DM LM now offers all reflected and transmitted light methods singly and also in combination thanks to the universal infinity optics and the universal UCA/P condenser with sextuple condenser disk. A new brightfield-darkfield concept "BD"
with precision metal mirrors in the darkfield objectives and specially
designed beam splitters provides an effective decoupling of illumination
and observation light resulting in particularly brilliant image contrast. For analogous and digital electronic image
documentation, special C-, B- and F-mount camera adapters with the new
HC-correction are adjusted for today and tomorrows TV-adaptation requirements. |
